One Heart Cardiology is excited to announce the full-time appointment of Ms Amy McKay.
Amy brings to One Heart Cardiology over 18 years of cardiac nursing experience both gained in the public and private sector of cardiac health care.
Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from Victoria University in 2004, and then went on to complete a Post Gradate Diploma of Critical Care Cardiac Nursing in 2010.
Her professional experience was gained working at The Alfred hospital in coronary care, cardiothoracics, and the cardiac catheter laboratory. She then took on the role of Heart Failure Coordinator where she developed a passion for managing the complex care needs of these patients.
Amy moved to Western Private Hospital in 2007 where as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager she helped to transform and grow the unit into a thriving private coronary care unit.
Outside of nursing Amy is the proud mother to two beautiful boys, and dreams of one day seeing the mighty Western Bulldogs win an AFL grand final.
