Our Centre

One Heart Cardiology is committed to delivering personalised, high quality health care to patients with cardiac conditions. With a patient centered team approach to patient care we strive to get the best outcomes for our patients.

One Heart Cardiology has been recently formed by four principal Cardiologists with the purpose of providing tertiary hospital expertise and skills with the convenience and efficiency of private practice. With our combined expertise in general cardiology, congential heart disease, heart failure, cardiac imaging, cardiac rhythm disorders, coronary intervention and complex structural cardiac intervention, we have a team that can treat the whole spectrum of cardiac disease from the most simple to the most complex conditions. As a group, the Cardiologists at One Heart have sub-specialty fellowship training and accreditation in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, congenital heart disease and echocardiography. One Heart Cardiology is committed to delivering personalised, high quality health care to patients with cardiac conditions. With a patient centered team approach to patient care we strive to get the best outcomes for our patients. One of the great strengths of One Heart Cardiology is that our Cardiologists have expertise in general cardiology and have sub-specialty expertise in all facets of cardiology and in particular cardiac rhythm disorders and structural and coronary intervention. Our team work together and our goal is to provide the best treatment for all our patients using a patient centered team approach.
Our principal Cardiologists hold public appointments at major teaching hospitals within Melbourne. Dr Ronen Gurvitch, Dr Geoff Lee and Dr William Wilson all hold public appointments at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, while Dr Adam Gay holds a public appointment at the Western Hospital. Our Cardiologists currently hold private hospital appointments at Melbourne Private, Epworth Hospital, Warringal Private Hospital, Cabrini and Western Private. One Heart Cardiology currently has rooms and a full non-invasive diagnostic suite in Flemington and Niddrie. Moreover, One Heart Cardiology has recently completed a purpose built site at the Showgrounds in Flemington. This site has ample free onsite parking. This site also has a full time practice nurse and a full diagnostic suite, including stress echocardiography, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, pacemaker and defibrillator testing and 24 hour blood pressure monitoring. Consultations and Investigations can be arranged through our referral pads or via the convenience of our on-line referral form. Consultations and all the diagnostic services are available at both the Flemington and Niddrie sites. For country patients, we also have the convenience of TeleHealth or so-called ‘Skype Consultations’ so that you can see a Specialist in Melbourne without the hassle of having to travel to Melbourne. We also run satellite clinics in Euroa, Gisborne, Horsham, Riddells Creek, Seymour, Sunbury and Woodend.

When you make an appointment, the reception staff will inform you about the expected fees and charges. At One Heart Cardiology, all cardiac investigations and tests are bulk billed so there will be no out of pocket expense for our patients. For consultation fees, individual doctors set their own fees. Reception staff process the payments on their behalf. EFTPOS facilities are available and credit cards are accepted. If the service performed attracts a rebate from a third party such as Medicare, you can then present the receipt to Medicare or another party for reimbursement of your costs. If you have any questions about the fees please contact our reception staff on  (03) 9374 4884.
