Dr Youlin Koh completed her medical degree at Monash University and subsequent Cardiology training at Western Health, Alfred and Bendigo hospitals. She is currently undertaking her PhD and fellowship in Heart Rhythm Management via Royal Melbourne Hospital. Her research focuses on the impact of treating depression on atrial fibrillation outcomes, with atrial fibrillation being the most common heart rhythm disturbance globally.
Youlin believes that it is important to manage physical and psychological health together and is keen to work with other medical professionals to help people develop confidence in self-management of their heart conditions.
Outside of work, Youlin enjoys spending time with her young family, cooking, and weightlifting.
